Pajero Sport prices dropped
Mitsubishi starts CKD assembly of the Pajero Sport. Prices slashed by Rs 1.87 lakh.

Mitsubishi India has slashed prices of the new Pajero Sport by Rs 1.87 lakh, and the butch SUV now costs Rs 22.56 lakh, down from Rs 24.43 lakh(ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Japanese carmaker has also announced that it has begun manufacturing the Pajero Sport from CKD kits at its Tiruvallur plant. Currently, components like tyres, the battery, window glass, seat belts, lamps, wiper assembly, alloy wheels and the headlining are the major items being localised for the Pajero Sport at Mitsubishi's Tiruvallur plant. The amount of localised content is about 14 percent, but Mitsubishi is aiming at increasing this to as much as 30 percent soon.
There are no mechanical changes being made to the Pajero Sport. It is powered by a 2.5-litre common-rail diesel engine good for 175bhp mated to afive-speed manual gearbox.
