Mitsubishi has added a seven-seat variant to its Outlander SUV lineup.

There are no changes to the seating layout of the 5-seater model, Mitsubishi has added just a thin jump seat at the back to accommodate two extra passengers. However there is minimal legroom for the third row occupants. This third-seat can be folded when there is a need of extra cargo space.

All Outlander variants come with an all-alloy twin-cam 4-cylinder in-line 2.4-litre engine petrol motor that produces 167bhp of power and a max of 23kgm of torque. Coupled with a 6-speed CVT box.

With the seven-seat variant, Mitsubishi has made the Outlander some-what more competitive in the market. Five-seater variant costs Rs 20.25 lakh. All prices ex-showroom, Delhi.
