New Mercedes concept headed to Consumer Electronics Show

Mercedes’ parent company, Daimler’s chairman, Dieter Zetsche is expected to reveal the new concept during his keynote address.

Daimler Chairman, Dieter Zetsche, will unveil a new concept at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas during his keynote address.

Deatails are sparse, but Zetsche’s address will focus on "the latest advances in autonomous vehicle technology". He will also talk about how autonomous vehicle technology is impacting society, mobility and the environment as well as "raise ideas and questions for the future".

The CES is scheduled for January 6 to 9, 2015. Zetsche is slated to make his address on January 5, on the eve of the show. He earlier gave a keynote speech at the CES in 2012.
