If you missed the bus in booking the Nano last year, just wait for a few more days. Tata Motors is set to open bookings for the Nano across India from August 15th.
It has already started taking bookings in Kerela from 3rd August, to ride on the string demand before Onam. The company is working full steam to speed up Nano’s production at Sanand.
P Telang, MD — India operations, said that the plan is to touch the peak capacity of producing 20,000 Nanos in Sanand by March 2011. If strong retail sales continue, then Tata Motors is set to become the second largest car maker in India by then.
