Ford Mustang right-hand-drive begins testing

First-ever factory-produced right-hand-drive Mustang will be sold in 25 international markets. Will also get a new 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine.

For has released pictures of the first right-hand-drive version of the new Mustang. This sixth-generation Ford Mustang will make it to 25 RHD markets, including, UK, Australia and South Africa.

This is the first time in the history of the car, that Ford will produce a right-hand-drive version. The prototype Mustang photographed here, assembled by Ford, will be used for testing purposes in the months leading up to official global production.

Production of the RHD Mustang is Ford’s effort to get the car to be a global car; and the 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine will also be key to achieving this.
