Kiminobu Tokuyama, MD and CEO of Nissan Motor India said “We are delighted with this encouraging initial response and are confident that this booking trend will continue to improve as we move closer to the start of sales by middle of July 2010.”
With the launch of the Micra, Nissan hopes to boost its presence on Indian roads. Mr. Tokuyama in an exclusive interview with Autocar India said “We decided on a brand ambassador to help us quickly build our image in the Indian market.” Nissan claims that the teaser ad campaign featuring Ranbir Kapoor has already created a good amount of awareness and recall.

Good - Rs 20/litre cheaper than E20 is a big advantage
Bad - it should have been priced even lower
Doesn’t matter - there aren’t enough E85-compatible vehicles yet
