Exclusive!

After the introduction of Punto’s 90HP variant, Fiat is all set to unveil a significantly higher powered version of its Linea saloon. Christened as the Linea T-Jet, this version will see an introduction of a new 1.4-litre Turbocharged petrol engine making 118 bhp

This will be the only car in its category to sport a turbocharged petrol engine and will give the car legs to compete well against segment leader, the Honda City. The new 1.4-litre motor will be coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission. This motor is said to have a good amount of low-end torque which can help in better fuel economy.

The T-Jet is said to include additional features which are not to be found in the current Linea, such as leather seats, hill holder assist (HBA), rain-sensing wipers and 16 inch alloy wheels.  According to our sources, Fiat will launch the Linea T-Jet on October 8th. Stay tuned for more updates.
