Aston Martin Lagonda unveiled

The Aston Martin Lagonda has been finally unveiled. It will be called Lagonda Taraf when it goes on sale in the Middle East. The car was officially unveiled at an event in Dubai recently.

The British carmaker has left options open to bring the Lagonda to other markets as well. Aston Martin boss Andy Palmer said, “It is clear from the initial reaction to the car that interest from around the world is extremely high, and I can confirm today that we are also evaluating the opportunity to offer this Lagonda in other markets.”

Previously, a near production-ready model was photographed undergoing final testing in Oman. It draws power from the naturally aspirated 5.9-litre V12 engine that also does duty in the Rapide S. In the Rapide, the V12 makes 550bhp and 63.2kgm of torque, granting a 0-100kph time of less than 5.0 seconds and a top speed of 306kph.
