The LA Auto show is only a few days away from now, and Lexus has teased its new LF-C2 concept ahead of the show. In a single picture that was released, the silhouette of the car shows a profile similar to that of RC coupe that was shown at the Tokyo motor show last year.

Following the RC-F, Lexus officials said that a regular RC may also be arriving a year after the former. Taking that lead, it seems only logical that they might launch a convertible version of the car as well. Like the standard RC Coupe, power for the new concept could come from either a 3.5-litre V6 engine or a hybrid powertrain featuring an electric motor in conjunction with a 2.5-litre engine.

The new model will be shown at the LA auto show on November 19; the new model will be revealed on a 72-hour social media event on November 16. Visitors to the specially set up website will be able to vote for new images to be revealed before the LA debut.
