Hyundai Motors India in association with Allianz Global Assistance has just introduced a specialized Roadside Assistance (RSA) extended program for customers who are beyond the warranty period on their cars. This is a 24X7 service that will be available to all Hyundai owners across the country.

There are three packages available with one, two and three years of coverage. They can be bought for Rs 899, Rs 1,499 and Rs 1,999 respectively. Hyundai owners can buy warranty for up to six years from the date of purchase of the car by the first owner. These packages can be bought during the warranty period too.

Hyundai's RSA program will offer services like breakdown and accidental towing, on-site repair for minor mechanical and electrical problems, jumpstarting a battery, providing assistance over the phone, helping customers if they get locked out of their car, run out of fuel or get a flat tyre, coordinating a taxi, custody services and legal or medical coordination. In case the car breaks down or meets with an accident and cannot be driven, it can also be towed safely to the nearest Hyundai dealership.

The RSA program is aimed at being an end-to-end solution with a 24X7 dedicated call centre. Hyundai has even set up a toll-free number for its customers to reach the call centre.

On the RSA Program, Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP - Sales & Marketing said, “This year we are extending the policy (road side assistance programme) for all customers aiming to provide them pan India reach with maximum assistance, benefit and services.”
