Mahindra has launched a new Premium variant of the e2o at Rs 5.72 lakh (on-road, Delhi). The new e20 gets an extended range of 120 km over the 80km offered over the previous car. For this, the new car doesn't get a new set of batteries, the motor has just been tuned to use power more efficiently.

The new e20 Premium also gets electric power steering, thereby making it more efficient for urban driving. It also gets carried over features like a touchscreen infotainment system, reversing camera and assist, electrically adjustable wing mirrors from the previous car.

Mahindra Reva will also charge a monthly energy fee of Rs 2,999 for five years which will allow the customer to drive 50,000kms in the period.
