Bentley has received more than 2000 expressions of interest in a production version of its EXP 9 F SUV concept, company sources have revealed to Autocar. The Bentley EXP 9 F concept has been pictured in action for the first time.

The concept made it to the Goodwood Festival of Speed last week and Bentley has now released images of it in action for the first time. It is understood Bentley presented the case to the Volkswagen Group board last week about progressing the project beyond the concept stage, and the high amount of interest it has received from potential customers is understood to have been a key part of Bentley’s persuasions.

Sources did confirm that the front and rear end styling would need to be modified should it make production as production, although the interior – which has found particularly favour among potential customers – is likely to carry over with minimal changes.
