Maruti Alto K10 Knightracer launched

In an effort to push sales of the Alto K10, Maruti Suzuki has launched a limited edition Alto K10 Knightracer trim. The limited edition model comes with 11 new features at an additional cost of Rs 13,490 and is available in LXi trim.

The Alto K10 Knightracer is offered with a rear spoiler, new body graphics, full wheel covers, external side mouldings, a left wing mirror, new fabric seat covers, a rear parcel tray, a steering wheel cover and a JVC MP3 music system with USB connectivity.

Elaborating on the Alto K10 Knightracer, Manohar Bhat, VP of marketing, Maruti Suzuki, said, “The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, since the day of its launch, found immense appreciation amongst the value-conscious young buyers. The Alto K10 Knightracer is a limited edition that adds to the Alto K10’s appeal with an enhanced style quotient. We are confident that this special edition will bring pride to the select owners.”

The Alto K10 was launched in August 2010 and has since helped the Alto brand achieve the 20 lakh sales milestone. The car is powered by the 1000cc K-Series engine that puts out 67bhp and returns 20.2kpl (claimed). The Alto K10 is priced at Rs 3.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the LXi variant and Rs 3.34 lakh for the VXi variant.
