The biannual Paris motor show, to be held from October 4 to 19 this year, will see a prominent presence of electric and hybrid vehicles. Special arrangements will be made at the venue, including indoor and outdoor tracks, that will allow visitors to test drive some of the alternative fuel vehicles on display.

The show will also have a historical exhibit with a hall dedicated entirely to classic and vintage cars. And this year’s theme is 'Automobiles and Fashion'. Executive director of the Paris motor show, Thierry Hesse, who was in India to promote the show, said, “Over the years, both cars and fashion have been intertwined, so we decided to make it our theme for this year’s historical exhibition.”

He also added, “We've had companies like Bajaj and Mahindra participating in the past, but we would like to see more from India.”
