The all-new Jaguar XJ, first displayed in India at the Delhi Auto Expo in January, is now available in India. The car offers a mix of striking design, breathtaking performance and engineering.
At its heart, is Jaguar’s unique lightweight vehicle architecture. Primarily aluminium, but also using magnesium and composite alloys, the car has a significantly lighter and stiffer body – the lightest in its class. The XJ will be available in the long wheelbase version. Under the hood is a 5.0-litre 379.6bhp AJ-V8 Gen III naturally aspirated direct-injection V8 petrol engine.
On the inside, the XJ offers state-of-the art infotainment systems such as the innovative Virtual Instrument dials, eight inch full colour Dual View technology Touch Screen display and Bowers & Wilkins premium surround sound system.
In terms of driving experience, the XJ benefits from Jaguar’s patented technologies like continuously variable damping (Adaptive Dynamics), quick ratio power-steering system, JaguarDrive Selector, JaguarDrive Control Jaguar Sequential Shift and Dynamic Stability Control with Trac DSC mode.
The all-new Jaguar XJ retails at Rs 85.05 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
