Mere days before its full reveal, an image of the new Citroën Aircross has been leaked online by a French magazine. With its styling heavily influenced by the C4 Cactus, the new SUV appears to feature slim LED daytime running lights, large front doors, tinted glass and roof rails.
The phrase "ever seen a camera on four wheels?" used by the company as part of its marketing material, has also led to speculation that the Aircross will come with several cameras, likely viewable from the centre console. A similar message, stating "have you ever heard an SUV in 3D?" has also been used.
While information on the concept's powertrain has not been released yet, reports suggest that it will take the same 98bhp four-cylinder BlueHDi diesel engine featured in the C4 Cactus range.
Citroën already has a C4 Aircross model on sale in China; however, it is expected that this new car could replace that as a more global product.
While a full reveal of the concept is expected on April 8, 2015, the car will likely make its public debut at the Shanghai motor show later this month.
