These are the leaked images of the upcoming 2011 Audi A7 Sportback which will be unveiled at Munich later today. The A7 with its coupe like lines will compete with uber coupe saloons like the Aston Martin Rapide, Mercedes CLS and Porsche Panamera.
As seen with the recent Audi Concepts like R8 where the production version closely resembled the original concept, we expect the production version of the A7 to closely resemble the concept which was revealed in the 2009 Detroit Motor Show. Like the concept, the front end has an aggressive stance with the single frame Audi family grill styling incorporated with striking LED Headlamps. The design overall resembles the flagship Audi A8 sedan but has a distinctive for door coupe styling. The interior is loaded with acres of leather, wood and brushed aluminum combo with a pop-up navigation system screen. The cockpit of A7 resembles the larger A8 but there are some styling differences to help make it unique.
The A7 is rumored to have a vast range of both petrol and diesel engine options. Petrol engines may include a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 with 268 bhp, a 4.2 liter V8 with 372 bhp; standard equipment will include seven speed DSG box and Quattro all wheel drive regardless engine choice.
