BMW Group India has announced a price increase of up to 2 percent across its entire model range, effective April 1, 2026. The revision will apply to both locally produced vehicles and completely built-up units (CBUs) sold under the BMW and MINI marques.
- Price hike applicable for both locally built and imported models
- Rising input costs and logistical expenses cites as reasons for price hike
The company said the price adjustment is aimed at offsetting rising input costs, including higher logistics expenses and increased material prices, along with the impact of a depreciating Indian rupee. BMW India Financial Services will continue to provide financing solutions aimed at easing the impact of the price increase.
The price hike will be applicable across a broad range of models such as the locally built 3-Series and 5-Series, as well as imported models like the M4 Competition and M5. The MINI portfolio, including models such as the Cooper S and Countryman SE, will also see price adjustments.
This announcement follows similar price hikes from rival German brands Mercedes-Benz and Audi, also effective from April 2026. For luxury carmakers, which rely significantly on imported components and CBUs, exchange rate volatility remains a key factor influencing pricing decisions.
