Car buyers in India have been enjoying reduced prices lately due to the new GST rates that were enforced on September 22, 2025. Buying a car has become even more lucrative in October, due to the Diwali 2025 offers that carmakers are offering on their models. Amongst all segments, the large SUVs and MPVs comprising models like the Kia Carens Clavis, Tata Harrier, Mahindra Scorpio N and XUV700 are also getting massive discounts this month. Here are the details:
Mahindra Marazzo
Up to Rs 3 lakh off.
The now-discontinued Mahindra Marazzo was the only MPV offered by Mahindra. Available stock is priced between Rs 14.06 lakh and Rs 16.38 lakh, ex-showroom. During Diwali 2025 festivities, this MPV is getting offers of up to Rs 3 lakh, which is among the highest of any mass-market model this festive season. The Marazzo gets a 123hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine and is available in three trims: M2, M4+ and M6+.
Kia Carens Clavis
Up to Rs 1.42 lakh off.
The Kia Carens Clavis gets offers of up to Rs 1.42 lakh in Diwali 2025. This three-row MPV is available with either 6 or 7 seats and is being offered in eight trims: HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+ (O), HTX, HTX (O) and HTX+. It is powered by either a 115hp 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 160hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine or a 116hp 1.5-litre diesel engine option. Prices of the Carens Clavis range between Rs 11.08 lakh and Rs 20.71 lakh, ex-showroom.
Maruti Invicto
Up to Rs 1.40 lakh off.
The Invicto is the most premium Maruti MPV, which currently retails between Rs 24.97 lakh and Rs 28.70 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in two variants: Zeta Plus and Alpha Plus. Customers of the top-spec Alpha Plus trim will enjoy benefits up to Rs 1.40 lakh, which includes a Rs 25,000 cash discount and a scrappage bonus of up to Rs 1.15 lakh. The entry-level Zeta Plus variant is not being offered with the cash discount, but only the scrappage benefits. The Invicto is powered by a 2-litre petrol-hybrid engine that has a combined output of 189hp and 206Nm.
Kia Carens
Up to Rs 83,200 off.
The Kia Carens MPV, which is the pre-facelift version of the Carens Clavis, is also available with discounts of up to Rs 83,200 during Diwali 2025. It is available in a single Premium (O) trim with either a 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine or a 115hp, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, both of which are also offered with the Carens Clavis. Prices of the Carens MPV range between Rs 10.99 lakh and Rs 12.77 lakh, ex-showroom.
Tata Harrier, Safari
Up to Rs 50,000 off.
The Tata Harrier and Safari duo are available with offers amounting to Rs 50,000 in Diwali 2025. This includes a cash discount of Rs 25,000 and an exchange or scrappage bonus of a similar amount. Both Tata SUVs are powered by a 170hp diesel engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Prices of the Tata Harrier range from Rs 14 lakh-25.35 lakh, while the Safari costs between Rs 14.67 lakh and Rs 25.96 lakh, ex-showroom.
Mahindra XUV700
Up to Rs 50,000 off.
The Mahindra XUV700 enjoys offers up to Rs 50,000 this Diwali 2025. Its prices range between Rs 13.66 lakh and Rs 23.71 lakh, ex-showroom, and it is a 3-row SUV with a choice of either 6 or 7 seats. Engine options include a 200hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 185hp, 2.2-litre diesel engine. A FWD configuration is standard on the XUV700, while the top-spec AX7 and AX7 L 7-seater trims with the diesel-AT powertrain also get an AWD setup.
Mahindra Scorpio Classic
Up to Rs 50,000 off.
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic has been on sale in India for a long time and is being offered with discounts of up to Rs 50,000 during Diwali. The Mahindra SUV is available in only two variants: S and S11, both of which get a 132hp 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Scorpio Classic is currently priced between Rs 12.98 lakh and Rs 16.70 lakh, ex-showroom.
Mahindra Scorpio N
Up to Rs 40,000 off.
The newer Mahindra Scorpio N is getting slightly lower offers in Diwali 2025, amounting to Rs 40,000. The Scorpio N gets either a 203hp 2-litre turbo-petrol engine or a 175hp 2.2-litre diesel engine – the latter is also available with 4WD. Prices of this Mahindra SUV start from Rs 13.20 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 24.17 lakh, ex-showroom.
Maruti XL6
Up to Rs 35,000 off.
The Maruti XL6 is available with a 103hp 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which is also available with an 88hp CNG option. This Diwali 2025, the petrol trims are being offered with exchange or scrappage bonuses amounting to Rs 25,000. The CNG variants, in addition to a similar bonus, also get a cash discount of Rs 10,000. The XL6 is available in three variants: Zeta, Alpha and Alpha Plus. Amongst this, it is only the Zeta trim that is being offered with a CNG option. Prices of the Maruti MPV range between Rs 11.52 lakh and Rs 14.48 lakh, ex-showroom.
