The front brake delivers more stopping force, but if you grab it too hard on loose or slippery dirt, it can make the front tyre lose traction and slide. A rear-wheel skid is generally easier to manage, so riders should apply both brakes gently and progressively rather than depending heavily on the front brake alone.

It can be, but the battery needs attention. If the bike isn't used for two weeks or more, Kawasaki recommends charging the battery using an appropriate charger, since batteries self-discharge over time even when the bike isn't running. Leaving the battery discharged for an extended period can lead to sulfation, which permanently damages the battery and isn't covered under warranty.

You can lower its tire pressure a bit on soft or slippery trails for better grip, and raise it slightly on rocky, hard trails to avoid punctures. Kawasaki recommends staying within 12-14 psi either way.

Kawasaki KLX230R S offers routine service as a fully paid model right from the first scheduled service through either Kawasaki dealer or an equally-qualified professional. Any improper servicing will not be covered under limited warranty.
