The car industry is turning electric, and Harley-Davidson is following suit. The Livewire is their first electric device. Because it's meant to be a muscular bike, it looks like a V-Rod or a Diavel. It has an electric motor located low in the chassis, as well as all of the necessary cycle elements. The motor is a permanent magnet motor with a high torque rating. Aluminium is used for the chassis. Showa offers upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock with full adjustment. Brembo has provided monoblock callipers to grip the front twin brake discs. There will be an LCD colour screen in the instrument cluster, as well as a comprehensive electronics suite. There are seven riding modes, as well as ABS and traction control. The rider can customise three of such riding modes. Bluetooth connectivity and satellite navigation will be accessible as well.
