Images of the all-new Hypermotard V2 have surfaced online, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the updated model. The bike will feature Ducati’s new 890cc V-twin engine, which is also seen in the new Panigale V2, new Streetfighter V2 and new Multistrada V2.
  1. Expected to be much lighter than before
  2. The 890cc V-twin engine should produce around 120hp
  3. Now gets a double-sided swingarm

Here's what we can expect:

In terms of design, the Hypermotard V2 has the same silhouette but gets new elements that differentiates it from the older model. One of the main differences is the styling of the headlight. The bodywork is sleek and compact, with a flowing supermoto-style seat and undertail exhausts.

The new Ducati Hypermotard, like the Multistrada V2, has shed a significant amount of weight. It was always a lightweight hooligan, but the new model will take things even further with an expected reduction of 10kg to 15kg.

The 890cc V-twin in the Hyper is expected to produce between 115hp and 120hp. With this, it will have an even more insane power-to-weight ratio. Just like all generations of the Hypermotard, it is riding on 17-inch alloy wheels with sticky road-biased tyres.

As seen in the image, the bike will make use of a double-sided swingarm, opposed to the single-sided swingarm on its predecessor. It will get a 6-axis IMU with the latest suite of electronics, including traction control, multiple riding modes, switchable dual-channel ABS, power modes, wheelie control and engine braking control. All these electronics can be controlled via an updated 5-inch TFT display.

The RVE variant of the current generation of the Hypermotard is priced starting at Rs 17.10 lakh (ex-showroom). We can expect pricing of the new model at a slight premium, and the official unveiling should happen at EICMA 2025 in Milan towards the end of this year.
