Triumph has opened up bookings for its retro-styled Bonneville T120 with the model priced at Rs 8.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The T120 was previously showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo where the manufacturer first revealed its price which carries forward unchanged. The T120 is part of three models under the Bonneville family which also includes the Thruxton and the entry-level Street Twin.

The T120 features retro styling with the pea-shooter exhaust, wire-spoke wheels, classic round headlamp and a fuel injection system disguised by throttle bodies designed as a carburettor, but comes equipped with a lot of modern tech.

Powering the T120 is a 1200cc fuel-injected, eight-valve, parallel-twin engine developing 80hp and 105Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper-assisted clutch. Stopping power is provided by twin 310mm discs up front and a single 255mm disc at the rear. ABS is standard.

In terms of technology, the bike comes equipped with a ride-by-wire throttle and with two riding modes – Road and Rain. Rain relaxes the throttle responses while in Road, performance is more brisk.

Other standard equipment available include LED daytime-running lamps, LED tail-lamps, traction control, heated grips, USB charging socket and engine immobiliser.

Triumph is further offering over 160 different accessories for customers to further customise their rides.

The T120 is the second of the new Bonneville range to go on sale in the country with the smaller Street Twin having been launched during the 2016 Auto Expo. The T120 can be booked at all 12 Triumph dealerships across the country. The dealerships are located in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Indore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi.
