Want to star in a Bollywood movie? Nissan India, in collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor, is giving 20 people the chance to strut their stuff in front of the camera. Auditions will be held entirely on the social networking site, Facebook. Interested candidates have to upload a short 45-second clip of them dancing and if selected, will get the chance to appear alongside Ranbir in a 3-minute movie titled – New Star of India.

In a completely interactive approach, members of the public will decide the winners and also help produce the movie by deciding the plot, choosing the music, picking the wardrobe and naming the characters.

New Star of India will premiere on Facebook and will also be screened at various red carpet events around India, where there will also be a chance to win one of six Nissan Micras. Nissan is also planning to take the contest on the road and will be touring shopping malls across the country holding live auditions in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Aurangabad from 22nd October.

To participate log on to the New Star of India page on Facebook – www.facebook.com/nissanindia.
