After catching wind of the 250 Ninja at the 2008 Auto expo, the bike is finally out on our Indian roads. Yes! Kawasaki has announced the Indian launch of their 250cc flagship the EX250-J, more commonly known as the Ninja 250R. After much speculation the Japanese manufacturer has finally unveiled the rev-happy, 249cc crotch-rocket.
The bike promises exceptional handling with its UNI-TRAK rear suspension, petal disc brakes. Bikers all over the country are dying to hear the sound of the parrallel twin-cylinder engine and revel in the thrill of near 33bhp of power.
However, the pricing of the motorcycle which stands sky high at Rs 2.69 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi, is the cause of much debate. With the exorbitant price tag, will the baby Ninja attract mass buyers, only time will tell.
