Hero Vida sales in 2026

Vida sales have grown every quarter this year

Vida delivered 27,435 scooters in October, up 66 percent from 16,499 units in October 2025. Its previous best was 24,435 units in September 2026, and the brand crossed 20,000 monthly sales five times this year.

Another notable trend this year is that Vida's sales have grown every quarter. In Q1 (January-March), the brand sold 49,043 units. In Q2 (April-June), that figure grew to 57,059 units, and in Q3 (July-September), it rose further to 66,606 units. The estimate for the full year is 2.5-2.6 lakh units.

As it stands, Vida's share of electric two-wheeler sales in 2026 so far is 11 percent, out of the 17.7 lakh units sold in India. This is up from 8 percent of the 11.1 lakh units sold over the same period a year ago. It ranks fourth, behind TVS Motor, Bajaj Auto and Ather Energy, and ahead of Ola Electric and Greaves Electric Mobility.

The brand has also doubled its electric two-wheeler production capacity at Hero's Chittoor plant in Andhra Pradesh, from 15,000 units at the end of FY2026 to 30,000 units in September 2026. Hero CEO Harshavardhan Chitale said the company expects capacity to reach 45,000 units a month by Q4 FY2027.

The Vida scooter lineup now comprises four models – the VX2 Go, VX2 Plus, V2 Pro and V2 Plus – along with the DIRT.E K3 youth motorcycle.
