Harley-Davidson recently launched three motorcycles in India – the Breakout, Street Glide Special and the CVO Limited. However, besides strengthening its lineup in India, an important area of focus for the American motorcycle company is to make these motorcycles more accessible to buyers. Keeping this in mind, it has opened two new dealerships, increasing the number of Harley-Davidson authorised dealerships to 17 in India.

The two dealerships are in Surat, Gujarat and Bangalore, Karnataka. The Diamond City Harley-Davidson showroom in Surat is the company’s second dealership in Gujarat, the first one being in Ahemdabad. Harley’s new Bangalore dealership is its second for the IT city.

Anoop Prakash, managing director, Harley-Davidson India said at the launch of the dealerships, “Our dealer network in India has grown rapidly over the past five years, and has welcomed thousands of owners and enthusiasts across the country […]. This year alone we’ve opened additional locations in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and now Bengaluru along with the first dealership in Surat, our second facility in Gujarat. We wish to congratulate our dedicated dealer partners on their new, world-class facilities.”

The motorcycle company has been growing its dealership network steadily over the past few years, and this will be an important area of focus for the company to further its growth in India. They are not only focusing on tier I cities, but also on tier II cities, like Surat.
