2026 KTM 790 Duke: What we know so far
New styling brings it closer to bigger Duke models
The most significant changes to the 2026 KTM 790 Duke are visual. The updated model adopts the new headlight design seen on the larger 990 Duke and 1390 Super Duke R. The fuel tank has been reshaped, and the side panels are also new. The images show that the updated bodywork is wrapped around the familiar steel trellis frame from the current model, while the 799cc parallel-twin engine appears to be carried over unchanged. At present, this engine produces 95hp and 87Nm of torque, and it remains to be seen whether these figures will change on the updated bike.
Other noticeable changes include a redesigned exhaust silencer, and the subframe also appears to be new to accommodate the revised rear bodywork. While it’s difficult to confirm based on images alone, the braking hardware looks different as well, with updated calipers visible. Similar updates could also extend to the suspension setup.
There’s still no official word on when the 2026 KTM 790 Duke will go on sale, but the test mule appears to be in an advanced stage of development, suggesting a global debut could happen in the coming months. There’s also no indication yet that this updated model will return to the Indian market.
