It is one of the more affordable FZ models
The FZ-Rave is powered by the tried and tested 149cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor, making the same 12.4hp and 13.3Nm of torque, mated to the same 5-speed gearbox. Other key mechanical specifications, such as the 136kg kerb weight, 13-litre fuel tank, 790mm seat height and 165mm ground clearance, stay identical to the other FZ models. What has changed is the new, edgy LED headlight on the Rave compared to the other FZ bikes. The Rave also gets red wheels, and you can have this motorcycle in two colours – black and matte green.

Like the other FZ models, the Rave gets a small LCD display, all-LED lighting and single-channel ABS, which comprise the noteworthy features it has. The FZ-Rave aims to make the entry point into Yamaha motorcycle ownership easier and is the third most affordable FZ model after the FZ-Fi and FZ-S Fi Ver 3.0. At Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the FZ Rave is priced similarly to other 150/160cc commuters such as the Honda Unicorn (Rs 1.11 lakh) and Bajaj Pulsar 150 (Rs 1.12 lakh).
