After updating it with a slip-and-assist clutch just recently, Royal Enfield has launched a new ‘Signature White’ colour for the Classic 350. The new colour sits alongside the ‘Emerald’ colour as the most expensive version of the motorcycle you can buy. Besides the colours, the motorcycles are identical to each other. This makes for a total of nine variants for Royal Enfield’s best-selling motorcycle.

Same J-series 349cc engine and feature set
As mentioned above, Royal Enfield currently sells the retro roadster in nine variants, with colour and rims as the main distinguishing factors. Seven out of the nine variants get tubed, wire-spoke rims, whereas the other two get alloy rims. However, all share the same 19/18-inch front/rear sizes. The Signature White sticks to wire-spoke rims with tubed tyres. Gun Grey and Stealth Black remain the only two colours offering alloy rims.
Besides the colours and rims, the only other difference between the variants is the presence or absence of the Tripper navigation pod; the device enabling turn-by-turn navigation is exclusive to the higher variants. Otherwise, they share the same 349cc single-cylinder J-series engine making 20.2hp and 27Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed transmission. The brakes continue to be disc at both ends, with dual-channel ABS as standard. The new colour joins ‘Emerald’ as the most expensive Classic 350 variant you can buy at Rs 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). Bookings for the new colour are now open on Royal Enfield’s website.
