Bengaluru-based electric mobility startup E3 Electric.Ai has started production of the E3 Trion electric scooter at its Hyderabad manufacturing plant and will also begin deliveries today in a phased manner.

E3 Trion details
Offered in 2.3kWh and 3kWh battery packs with up to 165km IDC range
The E3 Trion is offered with two battery pack options, 2.3kWh and 3kWh, across three variants: C1, C1X and C2. The base C1 gets a 2.3kWh removable battery pack, whereas the C1X and C2 come with the 3kWh fixed battery pack. The claimed IDC range for the C1, C1X and C2 is 108km, 165km and 128km, respectively. The scooters will feature 14-inch wheels at both ends.
The first 100 E3 Trion customers will get the option of purchasing an extended warranty covering the battery pack and specified key parts for eight years or 1 lakh kilometres, whichever comes first, along with one year of E3 Wingman roadside assistance. The combined offering is valued at Rs 6,500 for the C1 and Rs 8,500 for the C1X and C2. The company has not mentioned whether subsequent buyers will get this option.
Priced at Rs 1 lakh for the base C1, Rs 1.10 lakh for the C1X and Rs 1.20 lakh for the top-spec C2 variant, the E3 Trion goes head-to-head with established family scooters such as the Bajaj Chetak, TVS Orbiter V2, TVS iQube 3.1kWh, Ampere Nexus EX+ and Ather Konarc.
