The Yamaha Cygnus XR155 is the first scooter in the Cygnus series to get a larger 155cc engine, derived from the Aerox 155 and featuring VVA technology, producing 15hp and 13.9Nm.
Design highlights include a new triple-lens LED headlight with auto-adjusting colour temperature and 12-inch wheels at both ends. Unlike the Aerox’s step-through design, the XR155 uses a flat floorboard, making it more practical and familiar to traditional scooter buyers.
Unveiled in Taiwan, the XR155 sits above the refreshed Cygnus X125 and, if launched in India, would rival scooters like the TVS Ntorq 150.
