Tata Tiago photo gallery
Sharing the same platform as the Indica, the TIago is essentially an all-new car.
The Tiago will rival the likes of the Maruti Celerio and Hyundai i10.
The Tiago is significantly longer than its rivals though its wheelbase and height is down on its rivals.
The Tiago gets a choice of two new three-cylinder engines. An all-new 1.2-litre naturally aspirated Revotron motor and a 1.05-litre turbo-diesel unit badged Revotorq.
The Tiago gets a 240 litre boot.
The front seats are spacoius and comfortable though some may find the base to be a bit short.
The rear seat is well cushioned and offers good levels of space.
The two-tone dashboard looks smart with important controls within easy reach of the driver.
The instrument cluster gets a silver shroud.
The car comes equipped with a Harman-sourced infotainment system with aux, USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
The Tiago's gearlever gets chrome finish.
The driver footwell is spacious and gets a dedicated dead pedal.
The passenger footwell gets a hook to hang shopping bags.
The Tiago becomes the first car in the segment to get drive modes.
The Tiago gets a steel spare wheel.
