The Land Rover Discovery Sport's starting price in India is Rs 46.1 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Discovery Sport is offered in four trim levels – S, SE, HSE and HSE Luxury. It also comes with seven-seat configuration.

The new touchscreen-operated infotainment system is a big step up from the older system offered on all Land Rovers before this. Besides, angular cues dominate the dashboard.

The Discovery Sport is powered by a 2,179cc diesel engine that comes in two states of tune – a 148bhp TD4 version on the S, SE and HSE variants and a more powerful 188bhp SD4 version on the top-spec HSE Luxury trim

As on all modern Land Rovers, the Discovery Sport’s cabin is neat with a long-lasting feel to everything.

The SE and HSE trim come with part-leather seats with second row 60:40 split, slide and recline feature.

The Discovery Sport will also comes in a 5+2 seating arrangement, as against its five-seat competitors – the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Volvo XC60.

The Discovery Sport gets a power-folding option for the third row seat.
