The recent facelift has made the Etios look sportier. It gets a new V-shaped grille and a new bumper with a larger air dam and prominent fog lamp housings.

At the back, the updated Etios gets tweaked tail-lamps, a reprofiled bumper and additional chrome trim.

Dashboard layout remains unchanged from the outgoing model.

Inside, the seats have been re-engineered with rear passengers now getting a centre armrest.

Toyota has focused on safety and has fitted the Etios with dual airbags, ABS and ISOFIX as standard.

The instrument cluster is also new and is now a part-digital unit.

The diesel variants come with a softer clutch and improved gearshifts.

Electric adjust and folding wing mirrors are offered on higher variants of the car.

While the engines remain unchanged, Toyota has replaced the engine mounts and added more sound insulation to improve occupant comfort.
