2026 Toyota Innova Crysta vs old: Exterior design

The grille features a lot more chrome detailing this time

The only changes that the 2026 Innova Crysta gets over the older version are to the grille and bumper. While the earlier grille had black slats and surrounds with minor chrome accents, now there are thicker chrome elements, with even the slats highlighted in the same finish. The bumper has been slightly tweaked with a black section, giving it a dual-tone look. Also, the L-shaped chrome accents on the sides of the front bumper have been slightly repositioned. The overall silhouette remains intact, and you continue to get the same design and dual-tone finish for the 17-inch alloy wheels.

New trim and seat upholstery colours

The overall cabin layout in the 2026 Innova Crysta is similar to that of the older model. However, the silver trims make way for ‘Grace Copper’-coloured accents, and the faux wood detailing on the dashboard has been slightly refreshed. Additionally, the leatherette seats now get a dual-tone brown-and-black material instead of a monotone upholstery. A new inclusion to the feature list is a wireless charger, while a tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) has been added as part of the safety kit on higher trims.

150hp, 343Nm 2.4-litre diesel engine carried over

The 2026 Innova Crysta continues to be powered by the 2.4-litre diesel engine from the previous model. The mill churns out 150hp and 343Nm of torque, with transmission duties handled by a 5-speed manual gearbox. Eco and power drive modes for altering the throttle response remain.
