•12wI am looking to buy a scooter for my dad. He is sixty years old and his main concerns are minimal vibration, low weight, easy handling, and comfortable suspension. My budget is ₹2 lakh. Can you suggest suitable scooters that meet these requirements?

In the ICE family scooter segment, machines like the TVS Jupiter 110 / 125 and Suzuki Access 125 are our current frontrunners in the comfort department, so we'd suggest starting there. The Jupiter, in particular, has some nifty USPs like a spacious underseat storage area and 12-inch wheels at both ends, which will aid convenience and stability, respectively.
If you are open to getting an electric scooter, we'd advise checking out the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and Ather Rizta models as they are reliable products from reputed companies which should last you a long time. Choose a variant with enough battery capacity to handle your daily needs.
Take your father for a test ride of these scooters to see which one he finds the most manageable.

•4wIf it's only for your dad's use then consider scooty pep Light weight and Low seat height makes it easy to maneuver in tight parking spots and driving in traffic. Elderly people need comfort more than features or looks Also make them take a test ride on the same road where they'll be using the vehicle (for eg., Home to office/home to grandchildren school etc) place where they'll be using the scooter

•3wPerfect. I am 77. I am using TVs pep Plus for the last 15 years. It is good for short rides with family. I purchased it for rs.35000 then. Now it may cost rs.75000. go for that only. The tyre size is less than big scooterers allmost no maintenance cost except servicing for 6 to ,8 months r
