This is our second car, and our family has six members, including three elderly parents, so comfort in the back is important. We often drive on highways for 8–12 hours to my hometown. My budget is ₹15 lakh (on-road). Seat comfort in both the back (for three people) and the front is important, as is an excellent AC and a fun-to-drive experience. A sunroof is not required, and I prefer a non-Tata car.

The Maruti Ertiga would fit the bill. The seating position is just right, so the elderly don’t have to slouch. The AC is very effective, and it is quite adept on the highway.
The other option would be the Kia Carens Clavis, but that would require you to stretch your budget. The Clavis is a bit more engaging to drive and also offers the option of a sunroof.
