•18wI'm planning to buy a new car. I'm not a driving enthusiast and prefer a calm, efficient drive. My monthly running will be 150–200 km with mixed highway and city use. I'm deciding between the Hyundai Creta S(O) Petrol IVT and the Venue HX10 DCT Petrol - which should I choose, considering fuel efficiency and overall suitability?

The Hyundai Creta is a larger, more spacious car, and its 1.5-petrol IVT combination is much smoother than the Hyundai Venue Turbo-DCT combination.
In the real world, the Creta naturally aspirated petrol is likely to be more efficient than the Venue's turbo too. Yes, you will have to miss some modern features in the mid-spec Creta, which the top-spec Venue gets.
But on the whole, the Creta is a better car, and one that you must opt for.
