Hyundai Creta vs Skoda Kushaq

I want a foreign-made SUV. I currently own an Elevate and now, I want another one. Can you guide me whether I should go with Skoda Kushaq, Hyundai Creta or Volkswagen Taigun?

I am particularly looking for a vehicle with low maintenance and service costs, good after-sales support and a strong service network, especially in Bengaluru, along with comfortable seating for four to five family members on long drives, good safety ratings and build quality, decent highway fuel efficiency, and strong resale value after five to seven years of ownership. Based on these requirements, could you please recommend the most suitable model and explain why, suggest the variant that offers the best value for money, highlight any common issues or ownership concerns I should be aware of, and provide your top three recommendations ranked in order of suitability for my needs?

Hi, I have been using a sedan for the past 12 years. I want to purchase a midsize SUV for a usage of around 250 to 500 km per month and a long trip once in a quarter. I have shortlisted Creta, Kushaq, Elevate and Hyryder. My budget is between Rs. 16 lakh and 18 lakh. I want to use the car for the next 10 years. I want a car with a spacious cabin that has enough leg room and offers good riding comfort. Suggest me such a car.

My budget is Rs 15-17.5 lakh, and I am considering only cars with a DCT, torque-converter, CVT or IVT automatic. I have shortlisted the Skoda Kushaq Signature, Hyundai Creta S(O), Kia Seltos HTK and Honda Elevate VX. I am also considering waiting for the new Elevate facelift in October. I was thinking of waiting for the Creta facelift as well, but it will take a few more months. I expect to drive 60% in the city, with occasional highway trips. I want a car that performs well on the highway, offers good overtaking ability and delivers decent mileage. I have driven Honda and Volkswagen sedans abroad. Which car would be the better fit for my needs?

Should safety rating a major consideration for buying a car? I drive a 5 star rated car and I feel safe knowing the car I drive is sturdy and well built. Is it really safe or 5 star rating keeps my mind at peace. I feel it is not emphasized enough. Let's take Creta for example. It is the single most dominant mid size SUVs for a decade now but safety is not there as compared to seltos, Victoris, Elevate, Kushaq or Taigun. Creta still dominates. I understand it is going through a major facelift next year but why wait a decade and still do not have a 5 star rating, not even 4. Low safety rating is then but never tested is not an option. Shouldnt it be made mandatory? What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.
