•11wReasons for the upgrade: AMT fatigue, better highway safety, improved suspension, and a bit more space. My usage: 1. Bangalore (Whitefield), moderate city driving 2. Around 20 days of highway driving per year 3. Planning to keep the car for about 9 years Must-haves: 1. 360-degree camera 2. Budget of ₹15-16 lakh on-road (maximum) 3. Good suspension 4. Mileage is not a concern Considering the Hyundai Venue HX8 Turbo DCT with dealer-fitted 360-degree camera versus the Nissan Magnite Tekna+ Turbo CVT, which is feature-rich and reliable, at around ₹13 lakh? Which offers strong value for money? How do Magnite’s reliability and service compare?

The Hyundai Venue HX8 Turbo DCT is the better pick for you. The Nissan Magnite Tekna+ Turbo CVT is a good option, but it competes more closely with cars like the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. If you are looking for something that feels more premium and will stay fresh in the long run, the new Hyundai Venue makes more sense.
While this Nissan car is more affordable on paper and offers impressive space, the Venue does most things a notch better if your budget allows. It feels more comfortable and premium, has better feature execution, and delivers a more polished overall driving experience.
In terms of reliability, both brands have a good track record. However, Hyundai’s wider service network is an advantage, especially if you plan to keep the car for a long time.
