Please suggest a car between the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in a budget of 16-18 L?
Go for the Kia Seltos. While they are both similar SUVs that use the same engines, the Seltos is a larger vehicle built on a newer platform. It thus offers better space and comfort, as well as new-generation tech, which the Creta will only get when its next-gen model is launched in 2027. It also has a higher-quality interior with better fit and finish. Depending on the engine, gearbox and variant you choose, you may find a few more features in the equivalent Creta compared to the Seltos, but overall value for money, the Seltos should still come out on top, considering its inherent benefits.
That said, some reasons you might want to opt for the Creta is because you already own a Hyundai and are already in their system, and have an established relationship with the service centre. Also, if you are planning to exchange your i20, ask the dealer for a loyalty bonus or any other deal they might have; this could swing the purchase in favour of the Creta.
@autocar.india The Citroen Aircross X would make an excellent choice for it offers a peppy yet comfortable drive
@karthikmaestro10 Go for Seltos It has 5 safety rating in Bharat NCAP
Seltos HTK or HTK Optional
@rajinikanth HTK Optional is the premium choice as it adds a panoramic sunroof, leatherette seats, front parking sensors, and a push-button start, whereas the HTK remains a value-for-money option if you have strict budget.
Hi I am looking at MG hector or Kia Seltos automatic petrol Running is in the city only about 150 kms average per month Pls advise
@vikasbahl For low city usage, Seltos automatic petrol makes more sense with better reliability and efficiency. Hector is comparatively bigger, and feature-loaded but its petrol variant is less efficient and feels heavy in city traffic. Seltos is a smarter pick for your urban needs unless you want more space.
Not the best recommendation
U always suggested to SUV buyers to choose other than mg hector. Please let me know why mg hector is not in your consideration
@jagtarsingh The only drawback I see in MG is it’s low mileage
EV REQUIRE FOR DAILY 40 TO 50 KM USAGE
@nsrawat Pick the MG Windsor EV for its comfort, practicality, and value for money. If your budget is lower then Tata Punch EV is another excellent option.
