•17wI am planning to buy the Kia Seltos HTX variant with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. I am confused between choosing the manual transmission or the IVT automatic. I have been driving manual cars for 15+ years, and my monthly driving is around 500km, mostly within the city. Please advise which transmission would suit me better. Also, does Kia’s IVT have issues similar to a DCT?

The Kia Seltos HTX 1.5 petrol with a CVT automatic transmission (IVT) is a good option for you since you drive quite a bit in the city. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine is refined, and the IVT gearbox is seamless and responsive. Also, a CVT gives you more convenience than a manual, and it will be more reliable than a dual-clutch transmission (DCT), too.
