We have been impressed with the Citroen Basalt but are concerned about the company folding up, or parts being difficult to get later, as well as after-sales service. Also, need your opinion on the car. What's your take? Lastly, we are considering the Kia Syros but found it overhyped and boxy. Again, what is your opinion?

Citroen will continue to bet on the Indian market, and the company even has plans to update its model line-up towards the festive season. Yes, its sales and support network is limited, but if there is a touchpoint close to you, you could consider the Citroen Basalt. It is a stylish car with an excellent ride-and-handling balance and a strong turbo-petrol engine.

The Kia Syros, on the other hand, is an extremely well-packaged offering with a surprisingly spacious and comfortable cabin. Even though its styling might not have universal appeal, it is one of those cars that need to be experienced to appreciate. So, you could test drive the Syros a bit more extensively to form an informed purchase decision.
