Racing Promotions Pvt. Ltd. (RPPL) and the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation have signed an MoU to build a new street circuit in Navi Mumbai. This is proposed to host the final round of the 2025 Indian Racing Festival, which includes the F4 Indian Championship and Indian Racing League, this December.

If plans do materialise, this will be the second street circuit on this year’s Indian Racing Festival calendar. Earlier this month, the series announced plans for a new Goa Street Circuit, which will host Round 4 on November 1-2, 2025.

  • 3.753km long, 14 turns
  • Anti-clockwise layout

F4 India, Indian Racing League to race on Navi Mumbai Street Circuit

Debut planned for December 2025

Speaking to Autocar India earlier this year, RPPl chairman and managing director Akhilesh Reddy stated that the Indian Racing Festival was focusing on “doing as many street circuits as possible”. The series has already raced on street tracks in Hyderabad and Chennai before, and it looks like Goa and Navi Mumbai will follow suit this year.

While the Goa race will be held in daytime, organisers have confirmed the Navi Mumbai Street Circuit will host a night race, following in the footsteps of last year’s Chennai night race. The 3.753km-long track will follow an anti-clockwise layout and feature 14 turns.

The circuit starts at Palm Beach Road and weaves through stretches alongside Nerul Lake. While the exact dates haven’t yet been announced, organisers plan for the circuit to make its debut this December.

“We are proud to bring the Indian Racing Festival to Navi Mumbai,” said Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis. “The Mumbai Street Race marks a historic milestone in Maharashtra’s motorsport journey, showcasing our capability to host world-class events that drive tourism and generate jobs.”

Indian Racing League, F4 India explained

Six city-based teams are competing in the Indian Racing League this year, with some prominent team owners including Sourav Ganguly, John Abraham, Kichcha Sudeepa, and more. This series uses the Wolf GB08 Thunder single-seater, and each team has to field a mix of Indian and international talent, including one female racer.

F4 India, meanwhile, represents the first step on the single-seater racing ladder. With all-important FIA Super Licence points up for grabs and relatively lower entry fees, this championship has attracted several international racers. This also gives Indian drivers the chance to learn from and compete against international-level talent. This championship uses the latest-gen Mygale F4 car (which is also used in the French F4 championship), powered by an Alpine 1.3-litre turbocharged engine.
