Mumbai Falcons wrapped up the 2025-26 UAE Rotax Max Challenge with two titles. Tyla Harris and Maurits Knopjes took top honours in the DD2 and DD2 Masters classes, respectively, helping Mumbai Falcons to secure the overall teams’ title.
Young Indian talent made a mark in the championship as well. MN Motorsport’s Veer Chopra took victory in the Junior Max class, followed by the Mumbai Falcons duo of Mitansh Jain and Arhaan Koreishi.

Harris, Knopjes secure UAE Rotax Max titles for Mumbai Falcons
Leading the charge, Harris clinched the DD2 title with 1,123 points. This class is reserved for drivers above 15 years old and features karts with a two-speed gearbox. The DD2 Masters class, meanwhile, is for drivers aged 32 and above. Knopjes dominated in this class, with 941 points.
The Junior Max class (for drivers aged 12-15) featured an all-Indian top three. Chopra took top honours here with 1,037 points, followed by Mumbai Falcons’ Jain (960 points) and Koreishi (853 points).
“This season reflects the level of consistency and performance we expect as a team competing at the highest level. At the same time, seeing Indian drivers step up and secure podium finishes in such a competitive field is a clear signal that India is ready to produce the next generation of global racing stars,” said Anjum Shaikh, team principal of Mumbai Falcons’ karting programme
Mumbai Falcons scores wins in IAME UAE series
The team also secured title victories in the in IAME UAE series, where Mitansh Jain was crowned champion in the Junior class (for drivers aged 12-15). Rayan Koreishi finished second in the Senior class (for drivers above 15 years old), just nine points behind winner Jeremy Montgomery-Swan.
As a result of these achievements, the Indian team has also earned a ticket to the IAME World Finals, which will be held in Italy later this year.
