    Malaysian Rainforest challenge comes to India

    The legendary Malaysia Rainforest Challenge (RFC), one of the toughest off-road events in the world, is coming to India this year. The event starts on the 7th of August, 2014 and will go on for ten days. Organised by Cougar Motorsports, the event will run through the rainforests of the Western Ghats and over fifty international and Indian teams are expected to take part.

    Participants will have to complete 30 timed special stages designed by RFC experts from Malaysia. Stages with names like Predator and Terminator promise to be challenging while the final Twilight Zone will be an overnight drive through uncharted jungle. The cost of entry is Rs 84,000 for competition vehicles (two participants) while it will cost Rs 28,000 for the Touring Adventurer 4x4 category.

    First held in the jungles of Malaysia in 1997, the Rainforest Challenge is listed among the top ten toughest motor races in the world. For more information head to www.rfcindia.in.
