Tata Harrier vs Tata Safari

I currently own a September 2019 Kia Seltos HTX IVT (petrol), which has covered around 73,000 km without any issues, despite a major accident at 17,000 km. I am now thinking of buying a new car. My first preference is the Tata Safari petrol. However, after seeing the recent results and user reviews of the Tata Harrier EV, I am in a dilemma about whether I should buy the Harrier EV or the Safari petrol, or wait for the Safari EV.

I’m looking for a car in the Rs 22-24 lakh budget. My daily usage is around 30km, with about 75 percent of the driving in the city. My priorities are safety, driving comfort, mileage and an automatic gearbox. I was initially looking for a 5-seater and liked the Harrier Petrol Automatic, but I am now also considering a 7-seater. Should I choose between the Harrier, Safari and XUV 7XO, and would petrol or diesel be more suitable for my usage? I’m also open to other suggestions that fit these requirements.

Hi, I currently own a 2016 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga VDI SHVS and a Honda Jazz i-VTEC. I’m planning to sell both cars and buy a new one. My budget is between Rs. 20 lakh and Rs. 28 lakh (on-road). The cars I’m considering are the Mahindra XUV 7XO, Scorpio N, and Thar Roxx. However, I’m a little concerned about Mahindra’s service quality. I ruled out the Toyota Innova Crysta because I don’t think it offers enough value for the price. My father also does not prefer the Tata Safari, as its third row is not very usable. The Tata Harrier is also on my list, but I’m concerned about Tata’s service quality. My usage is mixed. Is there a better option available in this price range?

Need buying advice - XUV 7XO, Seltos, Harrier or Safari? Hello Everyone, I’m planning to replace my 2021 Maruti Suzuki Brezza (clocked 50000 km) and would love some guidance. My usage: Location: Chembur, Mumbai Office commute (3 days/week): -50 km round trip (Chembur-Airoli) Approx. monthly running: 1,000-1,200 km Regular weekend drives around Mumbai/Lonavala/Alibaug, with 8-12 outstation trips a year and 1-2 native (Konkan) trips annually. Family of 3, with parents and in-laws joining us on majority of trips. I also have a left knee ligament issue, so an automatic transmission is a must. I’ve test-driven the Kia Seltos Diesel AT, Mahindra XUV 7XO Diesel AT, and Tata Safari AT (only petrol was available for the test drive). I’m currently confused between the Seltos, XUV 7XO, Harrier and Safari. One additional challenge is that my apartment has a mechanical puzzle parking system. The parking platform is quite tight, although there is a 5.5 m driveway opposite the parking slot to help with maneuvering. So overall dimensions and ease of parking are also important. My priorities are: Reliability (8-10 years) Comfortable suspension Rear seat comfort Strong highway performance Good service support Easy city drivability Which one would you recommend based on my usage?
