Honda Elevate vs Kia Seltos

I'm confused between the Skoda Kushaq, Kia Seltos and Honda Elevate. I have a budget of Rs 21 lakh ex-showroom. I am hesitant about the Kushaq because the general opinion online is that German cars are expensive to maintain and lose resale value rapidly. It also does not have a factory-fitted 360-degree camera and lacks ADAS features. The Seltos has pretty much everything, but I have observed poor build quality in Kia cars in the past. The Elevate seems like a very attractive car from all angles, but the lack of a 360-degree camera and poor reviews of its ADAS have left me undecided. I am not sure if I need to worry about these features while buying a car, given that my wife and I are both new drivers. She has just learnt, while I have been driving since 2012 but have not driven much and lack experience. Our commute is primarily in the city in Bengaluru, mostly on weekends, with a 70:30 city-highway split. I am planning to keep the car for 10-15 years for a family of four. I have previously driven an 800 (manual), Brio (manual) and Kwid (AMT), and I love the Brio's driving quality.

I’m 38 years old, earn more than Rs 1.5 lakh per month, and this will be my first car. I’m considering the Maruti Brezza, Fronx, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and Honda Elevate. I’m currently planning to go for the Kia Seltos automatic IVT. Which car would be the most suitable for me? I’ll mainly use the car for monthly trips, with a running of around 500-1,000 km per month or every one and a half months.

Should safety rating a major consideration for buying a car? I drive a 5 star rated car and I feel safe knowing the car I drive is sturdy and well built. Is it really safe or 5 star rating keeps my mind at peace. I feel it is not emphasized enough. Let's take Creta for example. It is the single most dominant mid size SUVs for a decade now but safety is not there as compared to seltos, Victoris, Elevate, Kushaq or Taigun. Creta still dominates. I understand it is going through a major facelift next year but why wait a decade and still do not have a 5 star rating, not even 4. Low safety rating is then but never tested is not an option. Shouldnt it be made mandatory? What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I currently use a Skoda Slavia Ambition 1.0 automatic since last 4 years. Now, I am thinking of switching the car but I am confused between Honda Elevate V CVT petrol and Kia Seltos HTK iVT petrol.

I have a budget of Rs 15-20 lakh and want to replace my existing Verna (2011 model). I have explored Honda Elevate, Kia Seltos and Creta, all in automatic mode. My usage is 1000 km per month and I want a safe and reliable car. Please suggest.
