Lamborghini Revuelto Expert Review
With the Lamborghini Revuelto, there’s a newfound practicality and refinement that makes the it much more useable and comfortable than before, thanks to hybridisation. The track-focused Lambo does have everything going its way from exterior design and interior to performance. But the Rs 8.9 crore, ex-showroom, price tag is expensive.

Lamborghini Revuelto expert review
Instantly recognisable as a Lamborghini, the Revuelto’s sharp nose, wide haunches and trademark scissor doors are complemented by smoother, more contemporary lines. It’s a modern reinterpretation of the Aventador, retaining the signature wedgy stance while evolving key details. The bold ‘Y’ motif dominates the design, visible in the LED DRLs, side ducts, and tail-lights. Alloy wheels, offered in 20/21-inch or optional 21/22-inch sizes, carry the same Y-pattern.
The exposed V12 engine is showcased like a sculpture between the rear buttresses, with twin exhausts repositioned just below the spoiler. A typical India-specific worry is bystanders getting too close to those fiery exhausts in traffic — a good excuse to engage pure EV mode.

The Revuelto interior is a huge leap over the Aventador’s cramped, impractical cabin. The doors open wider, and the slimmer rocker panels make getting in and out easier. The new seats are larger, softer, and more adjustable. Practical touches include a wireless charging pad and a surprisingly generous frunk, capable of swallowing two soft bags.
Rearward visibility remains poor — par for the mid-engine supercar course — but the driving position is spot-on. The steering wheel packs logically arranged controls for drive modes, suspension damping, and front nose lift.

Under the hood is an all-new 6.5-litre V12 producing 825hp, mated to three electric motors adding 190hp for a combined output of 1,015hp and 807Nm of torque. The Revuelto hits 0-100kph in a blistering 2.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of over 350kph. It’s astonishingly refined, with the electric motors filling torque gaps, and the new 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox offering seamless shifts — a far cry from the Aventador’s single-clutch unit. The V12 retains its glorious, high-revving character, spinning to 9,500rpm with a sensational soundtrack.

The Lamborghini Revuelto isn’t a fully electric supercar, but a plug-in hybrid with a limited pure electric range of 8-10km. However, the true role of the hybrid system, comprising three electric motors, is to support the all-new 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine that’s central to Lamborghini’s DNA. Officially, the Lamborghini Revuelto mileage stands at 8.4kpl on the WLTP cycle, dropping to around 5.6kpl once the battery’s depleted.

Thanks to torque vectoring from its e-motors, the Revuelto feels agile and composed for a 1,772kg (dry) supercar. It corners with unexpected finesse, and in Sport mode, the ESC lets you slide it in a controlled, predictable manner. The steering is accurate, though it could use more heft on a racetrack.
9
In line with modern supercar tech trends, the Lamborghini Revuelto comes with three high-resolution screens: a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8.4-inch central infotainment screen, and a 9.1-inch passenger display. Drive modes include Citta (EV only), Strada, Sport, and Corsa, along with hybrid-specific settings like Recharge, Hybrid, and Performance. Safety kit includes five airbags for the two occupants.
7
Priced at Rs 8.9 crore ex-showroom India, with on-road prices easily crossing Rs 10 crore, the Lamborghini Revuelto is the future of Lamborghini’s V12 supercars. It blends staggering performance, aggressive styling, hybrid technology, and newfound civility. It’s the Aventador’s spiritual successor — and a statement for those who can afford it.
